We have been very busy since our minimum entry was exceeded on March 15th. We now have 13 boats registered with three classes including F-18, and I-20 and Open Class.  We have a new logo, completed sailing instructions and other items listed below.

New Event Logo:
A big thanks goes out to Larry Ferbers stepson, Zack Panetti, for developing the new Florida 300 logo. It captures the spirit of the race.

Sailing Instructions:
Sailing Instructions have been posted on the event website. A lot of input and debate from all five board members have been put into this 20 page document to maximize safety fairness.

New Registration Form:
New registration form has been posted on website. Please use the new registration form for all new event registrations and pre registered teams should fill it out and send it in too.

Dog Fight Event Information:
Information on the "Dog Fight" is posted on the website. The dogfight will count towards the Endurance Series points. You will use the same registration form as the Florida 300 teams.

SPOT Tracking Units:
If you have a SPOT tracker please send a link to a shared page to Craig Van Eaton (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). SPOT rentals can also be made by contacting Craig Van Eaton. The rental fee will be $40 and the unit will be delivered to Islamorada and picked up at the finish. We are finalizing a tracking application to be used for the Florida 300, Sail Series Promotions events and Endurance Series events.

Safety Gear:
We are working with someone on reduced pricing on safety gear such as EPIRB's and SPOT Units. We will pass on their information as soon as they have everything finalized.

Volunteers:
We are looking for local volunteers to help with the start and finishes of individual stops. The volunteers will be assisting the race PRO and Beach Master. If you live close to one of the stops and would like to help, please contact Warren Green (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to coordinate.

Stop Parties:
If your company or team would like to sponsor a party at one of the stops, contact Chuck Bargeron (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for details. Other sponsorships are also available.
